  • I have two favorite types of arts; the first one is paintings, as in visual arts, but even more precisely oil and acrylic paintings. I’ve always loved the gorgeous representations and how the light and the colors could sometimes seem so vibrant on the canvas. I went to the Louvre a couple of years ago and I enjoyed seeing the famous Italian paintings that I had learned about in history of arts class. My love for this visual art has made me enroll in painting classes, I have been painting for a couple of years now and I still love every moment of it. Not only do I like the results of my paintings, at least most of the times, but for me, it’s also a way to escape. During the hours when I’m concentrating on the light, on the textures, and on the colors, I forget everything else around me and that is bliss to me. The other type of art that I really enjoy is dance, although I am no dancer, I love to see dance performed. It’s amazing the emotions some people can convey through their dance. I can’t help but be amazed by the talent of some of the performers; amazed and impressed. Art in general is something very dear to me, a form of escape, but also sometimes a wonderful emotional experience.
