ENVIRONMENT EDITOR
BUSINESS MANAGER
Hey! I'm Catherine Daccache, a passionate English literature student always trying to be as up-to-date as possible on Montreal events and community news. An avid Montrealites supporter, my current job is to manage the website so that our web traffic increases and I'm lovin' every moment of it. I'm currently working on an interactive game project for the website, and my passions include the environment, social justice, and community life.

In addition to her studies, she is the social media intern for the non-profit Voices-Voix and the VP Finance for Concordia's chapter of Journalists for Human Rights. In her spare time, Tanya enjoys baking, yoga, watching documentaries, tweeting and reading.
PERFORMING ARTS EDITOR
As a Chinese who's never really set foot in China, lives with a francophone family and resided in an anglophone city, you can say I'm a bit of a hybrid of everything. And that's good. Think of me as a melting pot of ideas, theories, conspiracies and what not. After all, isn't that what Montreal is all about?
I am the founder of a charity called Grab Your Balls for Charity that sends soccer balls to children in impoverished villages around the world (you can find out more at http://www.facebook.com/GYBC.ca). Apart from ruthlessly advertising my charity wherever possible I enjoy writing, editing and reading; I am an expert in all three. WARNING: Do not search for any of the articles I have posted to the site by looking in the Trade section. They are far too shocking and intriguing to be exposed to.
BIRTH COMMUNITY EDITOR
Avalon was first raised in Ottawa, second raised in Montreal, and next to be raised wherever she ends up. She enjoys ukulele-playing, bicycle-riding, fiction-writing, language-learning, and human interaction. She is currently studying to become a doula, and she will graduate from Concordia University in 2013 with a double major in Creative Writing, and French Studies & Translation.
POLITICAL EDITOR
William R. Landry began his teaching career in 1996 as Writer-in-residence at F.A.C.E. School. Since then, he has taught high school full-time while holding educational workshops and literary events throughout Montreal and its suburbs. As Director of Cryptic Fortress Erudition (CF-E), he teaches Business and Administration Language at major corporations and ministries, and runs a Literacy Day Camp for teens from July to August. As Political Editor of Montrealites, his mission is to interview and unite a diversity of artists, students, and professionals with the goal of fostering community development.
SPORTS EDITOR
I am very grounded to my Irish roots, even though I share them with English and Scottish: Irish when I'm happy, Scottish when I need to be brave, and English when I'm prudish. I am also interested and involved in motorsports such as motocross, trials and racing. I am actually part of a race team and work pitcrew and I've worked in the pits of the Montreal Grand Prix twice! I also love to dance. When I'm not doing these things, I travel.

I have reignited an inner burning desire to learn that which was dimmed by life's pirouettes and bends. I am, a "vrai de vrai' Montrealais, having lived here all my life and had the opportunity to see restaurant locales open and close their doors countless of times. I had the opportunity to sit at many tables, stools and bars always returning to the same Rigatoni and Meatball or B-52 Sushi. Now, I am the Dining Out Editor on Montrealites.ca, which will give me the opportunity to taste new tantalizing, I hope, dishes and have wine served by a sommelier or two. If you have any suggestions, send me a tweet #AtWordsofMouths.
Tania Romito is currently completing a Specialization in History and a Minor in Professional Writing, at Concordia University. As editor of Montrealites' Eats section, she fuses her interests in history, food and writing, and reveals her obvious love for the city and its cultural and artistic edge.
HEALTH EDITOR
Born and raised in Montreal, my name might lead you to believe I don't speak English. Please ignore the false advertisement, I grew up in one of Montreal's anglophone communities and my English is arguably better than my French. I love all Montreal has to offer, except for maybe its roads and healthcare system.
I'm a 22 year old English literature and professional writing student at Concordia University. I first moved to Montreal from Ottawa in 2007 to study business, but quickly realized it wasn't for me. I'm very passionate about music and the arts, and I stay involved by hosting a weekly radio show titled "The Letter B" on CJLO 1690AM, by editing the CJLO Magazine and by being a contributing editor to the Music section here at Montrealites. When I lived in Ottawa I ran a promotion company called Synergy Canada and threw small and large scale electronic music events throughout the city for a number of years.
