Whether it be biking to school, hiking

Mount Royal on a sunny day or

attending fitness classes at your local

YMCA, what do you do to keep yourself

healthy?

  • I used to be an avid dancer, but i stopped dancing this year and decided to try something new. My newest fitness venture is cardio kickboxing! I take kickboxing classes 2-3 times a week at the local Karate Club near my house in the West Island. It's really affordable and really an intense workout. I have to say that this is the first fitness activity since i stopped dancing that i actually enjoy. My instructor plays awesome pump up music that keeps me going throughout the class. I love it!

  • To stay fit, I just signed in to a gym on ste-catherine's street called "vie en forme". There was a special so it cost me 100$ for a year which is very affordable for a gym downtown. I can attend every classes I want on top of that. I couldn't ask for more. My trainer is very strict which pushes me and motivates me to focus and get in shape. I really like her because not only she pushes me, she also encourages me and really want me to get better. Everyone who needs to get in shape, Vie en forme on Ste-Catherine corner Bleury (metro Place-des-Arts) is perfect!

  • I must admit, the best thing I do to stay healthy is to eat health because I believe health starts from what you feed yourself with so I eat as much raw vegetables and fruits as I can and often I run in the morning.
