Did you participate in Nuit Blanche this or any other year? What did you see? What did you like most?

  • I went to the Nuit Blanche festival in Toronto city in 2009. My friend is a fan of art, like myself, and she goes every year. We went around 9 O’clock at night and the city was packed with hundreds of people walking around looking at all the different styles of art. Like I said, I really enjoy art, but for me art is painting, drawing, sculpture, music and poetry, what I saw at the festival was nothing I’ve ever seen before. There was a group of people dressed as ghost, they were slowly walking around a fire, holding note pads and reading out loud what was written. Another weird one was a little pool filled with vodka, it was in a building and people were randomly throwing pennies in the pool. Most of the kiosks were strange but it was still very entertaining.

  • I went this year and it was pretty fun (extra plus, the metro was still running) it was a fun moment for sure people were joyful and I saw people do a whole bunch of "tricks" which I enjoyed pretty much.
