To sit and read? Some parks, such as Notre Dame de Grace park or Westmount park even have water fountains to cool off and splash around in. What do you like to do?

  • The park I enjoy going to isn’t in Montreal, it is in a city on the North shore. The Park is called L’ile des Moulins, it is in the old part of Terrebonne. It is a really beautiful recreation park filled with huge sculptures, long paths and even a long bridge that passes over the rapids of the Mile Isle River. There are also a few old buildings from the 19th century that you can visit. In the summer, there are many activities, you often see people riding their bikes, walking or even picnicking. There is a big library in one of the old buildings and a big park for kids. In the winter, there are also a lot of different activities for children and the lake becomes a natural skating rink. It is free for everyone and you can also rent skates at a low cost. It is a great place to visit, there are many restaurants, bistros and bars at a walking distance, and the parking is also free everywhere in the Old Terrebonne. Everyone should visit L’ile des moulins.

  • The park I enjoyed the most in the one in Vaudreuil, which is about 30 minutes away from Montreal. It is near the water, and you can walk, assist to weddings, play volleyball, or go with your family to play as there is a lot of activities planned for kids. If I don't have the time to go that far, I like to walk in Lachine's park because again, it is near the water and there's a Dairy Queen five minutes away to enjoy a nice ice cream under the sun!

  • There is a park not far from my house, and I always walked my dog there, to excercise and play with him. Now that I longer have my dog, I go there with friends from time to time for a get together, always fun especially if the weather is just perfect not too hot or cold!
