Convene and converge at Montréalités!

While diversified cities exist all over the globe, Montreal is one of the most culturally unique; Quebecois tradition has infused itself into everything here from food to activism to driving (always aggressively). Still, one of the most exciting elements of Montreal is its thriving arts community. Arguably, Montreal is the art hub of Canada. Whether you've just arrived, or you've lived in the city your whole life, at the Beaux Arts section of Montréalités, we hope to help you explore the artistic realities occurring in Montreal right now. Theatre, music, film, visual art, and architecture -they're all important in Montreal.

We know: art is sometimes overwhelming. Check out the links below and begin your exciting journey into the Montréal art scene. Beaux Arts Editor, Jess, talks to us about why the art scene in Montréal sucks:

Mission:

It's our intention at Beaux-Arts Montrealites to provide the inhabitants of Montreal with a place to convene and converge about art culture in the city. With articles about all artistic endeavours (visual art, music, film, theatre, and architecture), we hope that we will help beginners feel confident while attending vernissages and old art pros engage in underground movements. We hope to create connections with those in the art community to better provide readers with engaging material. We believe that art should be fun and engaging, and this characteristic is the thread that ties together all content provided by Beaux Arts Montrealites.
